In November 2000 our five-hectare vineyard of Pinot Noir was planted in the cool climate viticultural region of Central Otago, New Zealand.

In April 2003 we hand harvested our first grapes, fully ripened and in good condition. They were destemed then cold soaked for nearly a week before fermentation began. During fermentation the must was hand plunged in open top fermenters before being pressed off into French barrels where the wine is now maturing. An en primeur release will be made in early 2004.
