Longview Estate was established in 1969 by the Vuletich family. They pioneered winegrowing in Whangarei and Longview is Northland's oldest established vineyard.

Less than 2 hours north of Auckland, New Zealand's largest city and 1 hour south of the Bay of Islands, we're located on state highway one on the edge of Whangarei city.

Over the years, the vineyard has had extensive plantings totalling 7 hectares of grapes, including; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Syrah, Chardonnay and Gerwurztraminer.

The winery has also expanded dramatically over the last few years, and is now fully equipped using traditional winemaking techniques together with modern technology. Longview produces individual, handcrafted wines with intense fruit flavours.

We are proud to say that we grow and process all our fruit on the Estate, bottle on our premises and sell our wine from the cellar door and on this website!

The name 'Longview Estate' reflects the commanding views that the elevated clay slopes give over the picturesque Whangarei harbour. The site promotes early ripening fruits of rich concentrated flavours.

We have won a number of awards from: The Royal Easter Show, Air NZ, and Cuisine.
