Goldwater Estate was established by Kim and Jeanette Goldwater in 1978 when they pioneered winegrowing on Waiheke Island with the planting of the Island's first vinifera vineyard.
The success of their wines is demonstrated by the fact that there are now more than thirty vineyards flourishing on Waiheke Island.
In 1992 the Goldwaters produced their first wines from the Marlborough region and are now equally well known for their outstanding New Dog Sauvignon Blanc (previously Dog Point) and Roseland Chardonnay.
They have recently planted a new vineyard in the highly esteemed Gimblett Gravels sub region of Hawkes Bay to produce a Merlot predominant blended red.
