Our aim is to help provide you with the most wonderful day of your life, and to make planning easy.

We do not have complicated food and beverage packages - we offer either one beautiful buffet or two set menu options including canaps.

Our own award winning wines are offered at prices only nominally above those at our cellar door - we still believe in value for money!

We have a full-time Wedding Manager who will take care of you in a friendly, professional and discrete manner from your initial enquiry right through to the big day.

A wedding at Ascension provides a unique ambience found nowhere else in the Auckland or Northern region.

A combination of stunning architecture and remarkable views of the vineyard and rolling hills and native bush, together with delicious food and Ascension wine will help make your special day truly one for you
and your guests to remember.

Best of all, you just turn up, have a great time, and leave the rest to us.

Ascension is able to accommodate a maximum of 100 and a minimum of 60 guests for weddings in our restaurant and adjoining pergola. Marquee options are available for between 100 and 250 guests.

We believe in elegance and simplicity so our tables are set with white linen cloths and napkins, cutlery, glassware, water bottles, a single rose, and a candle. We are happy to work with you in regard to further decoration of our tables.

Our menu selections, lovingly prepared by our experienced chefs, are served in the Courtyard, complete with a glowing outdoor fireplace and only metres from the vines, or by silver service to your tables in the case of set menu options. The Courtyard is also the area that would hold a dance should you wish to have one.

Ascension's location less than an hour from Auckland makes it possible for your guests to drive home in a reasonable time, however there is a large range of excellent local accommodation available as well as a minibus company to conduct transfers.
