Experience Beauty by Night Meets the People of the Land, which combines a Maori cultural experience with a guided tour of Rainbow Springs at night. The opening features Maori warriors paddling down Wai-o-whiro stream by waka (war canoe) followed by a Maori cultural performance, topped with a succulent hangi meal, tranquil bush walk, glow worm viewing, and a visit to sacred Fairy Spring.
Visitors then walk through the bush to Rainbow Springs to experience Beauty by Night. A Rainbow Springs guide will take you through the park observing the flora and wildlife at night including a walk-through outdoor kiwi enclosure. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy Rainbow Springs under light.
