Just 20 minutes drive north from Rotorua is New Zealand's only Blueberry Winery and Visitor experience. Our Complex offers Conference and Dining Facilities for 100 people, Caf, Museum and our Retail Shop, from which we offer unique tours through the Blueberry Orchard, Blueberry Winery, Native Bush and Farmland. Tours can be tailored to individual itineraries but generally allow an hour, being a mix of walking and travel on our purpose built people carrier. On our Orchard/Winery tour visitors will find out how the venture began and the intricacies of the Blueberry growing and exporting business. Visitors then proceed into the Winery where the wine maker explains the delicate art of Blueberry winemaking. Bring a group on a tour experience or call in while doing your own touring experience, you will not be disappointed. Wine tasting, home made product tasting and pure Blueberry juice will give you an opportunity to see and taste why Blueberries are the No 1 health food
If you are interested in the history of an area, then our museum of memorabilia will amaze you with the images of Mamaku as it was 100 years ago. Tall trees, rugged landscape and tough men of the bush made this one of New Zealand's pioneer areas. Here you will find many stories and legends of the men that made it all happen as they cleared the bush and made the land what it is today. Our own patch of Native bush will give the adventurous a taste of the beauty and a pure experience of the tranquility that is not found in the busy city life of today's society.
