Cabernet Merlot - Hawke's Bay

Selected fruits were crushed and then fermented using Bordeaux yeast. The wine was left in contact for a period with the skins before being pressed and aged in oak barriques.

Deep red brick in colour, this is a smooth full bodied wine of ripe berry fruit and minty flavours with overtones of vanilla.

This wine can be best served with red meats, red sauces, pasta or cheeses.
