Its founder Harrie Geraerts, a European trained chef himself created Tauranga Catering to provide outstanding cuisine and service at a level he himself felt comfortable with.

His standards are reflecting the whole operation and together with the 'hand picked employees' is the reason for the company's rapid success.

Our expertise is gained in the most reputable establishments like Hotel du Vin, Puka Park Lodge, Fantail Lodge, Auckland's top rating Hotels and Taupo's Huka Lodge, not to mention the cruise ship and international experience gained among our people over the years. Our kitchen brigade alone represents currently over a century of experience.

We pride ourselves on the flexibility and caliber of our employees regarding the occasion being a wedding function, a homely private dinner, film-set catering or a formal gala dinner.

Our services extend into hospitality consultancy and start-ups (Tinopai Lodge, Morton Estate Restaurant, Hotel on Devonport), contract catering and hospitality management.
