The Chateau has a magnificent lounge in the original Art Deco style with sumptuous armchairs, crackling fires and the beautiful Ngauruhoe Room, perfect for relaxing.
Not only is there the warmth of the hotel to savour but we have the highest golf course in New Zealand and for those who enjoy a little more active pursuits, there are walks ranging from 15 minutes to 3 hours.
The Sentimental Journey package includes:

- a three course set dinner in the Ruapehu Room each night,
