Auckland's Sky Tower is the tallest building south of the equator and now you can traverse around its 360 degree pergola! Check in "Mission Control" located next to the tower entrance, down the main escalator, Sky City, corner of Federal and Victoria Streets, Auckland. Gear up and make your way to the observation deck to experience a whole new perspective!
Adventurers experience the heightened sensations of being outside the Sky Tower's observation decks on a 1.2m walkway, with absolutely nothing on either side except a 192m drop off! There is no handrail and it might well seem that there is very little to prevent you falling off!
The inwards perspective on the Sky Tower at this height is fresh and interesting. It is easy to look straight down between the steel grating to the tiny figures of people and vehicles far below. A somewhat "airy" feeling becomes associated with ones feet and even the Harbour Bridge seems miniscule!
From check-in to completion, the entire experience will take around 45 minutes, and photos and video will be taken as part of the experience. This is an optional extra that you can buy on the day.
