International and New Zealand media and buyers will attend Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2006 from 18-23 September in Auckland for four days of catwalk shows and designer showrooms as well as the opportunity to meet with designers and their agents to drive export and domestic sales of New Zealand fashion.
Organisers travel the world to find potential buyers and media who will appreciate and ultimately, order garments from New Zealand designers.
In the six years Air New Zealand Fashion Week has been in existence the New Zealand fashion industry has come of age, generating millions of dollars of export sales and highlighting this unique and special aspect of New Zealand's creative life.
